About Yoga

Here is a list of our current class offerings for Yoga. Classes are all levels unless otherwise specified. Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in and bring a mat, towel, and water bottle.

Unit A: Downstairs is for Pilates only.

Catie Jarvis
Catie's classes incorporate a dynamic vinyasa flow inspired by acrobatics and creative movement. Synchronizing breath with movement in a smooth sequence allows the poses to run together like a dance, providing an aerobic component while also improving strength, flexibility, and coordination. Vinyasa’s strength is in its diversity. The unpredictability of what movement will come next keeps your practice exciting, keeps you present, and alive!

Kids Yoga 4pm
When people think of yoga they usually picture really bendy, quiet classes that are all about weird breathing. It doesn't have to be that way and in this class as much as we embrace a calm environment we explore postures and breathing with vivid imagery and lots of giggles. This fun class will teach you how to balance on your hands, backbend, and stand on one foot all while learning to be calm in the process. Additionally, yoga has been shown to also help increase focus and concentration while decreasing anxiety and helps combat weight gain. Come learn how to breathe like a balloon, bend like a snake and balance like a tree!

Hatha Yoga 7:30am
Start your day with a gentle jump start. In this hatha class we will salute the sun and bring blood flow to the internal organs and muscles via flowing movements and postures. Each class will incorporate a featured posture and conclude with stretching and elongation of the muscles we work. This is a beginning-intermediate yoga class exploring poses such as Bakasana (crow pose), Parivrtta Hasta Padangusthasana I (twisting hand to big toe pose), Uttanasana (standing forward fold pose), and Utkatasana (chair pose).
